IMPORTANT: CUSD 10 Will TEST Our Emergency Communication System on November 11

We will conduct a test of our emergency communication system next Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (school is not in session) in the morning.

This districtwide notification will provide an opportunity to confirm all families and staff receive an urgent communication, and allow everyone to experience a sample emergency message. If you do not receive a message on Tuesday, November 11, please notify your child’s school.

You can log-in to Skyward Family Access or contact the school to check your contact information (emails, phone numbers, etc.) You should also consider downloading the free ParentSquare app (information attached) to improve and streamline how you receive school communications.

Urgent alerts will override all notification preferences, and will be sent via text, voice, email and app notification.

Note: There is no need to act or respond when you receive the TEST message.

What is an Urgent Alert?
A ParentSquare urgent alert is for time-sensitive and critical events that require immediate attention, such as school closures, weather emergencies, critical threats or lockdowns. These alerts are one-way communications that send the same message instantly to the entire school or district through multiple channels, including text, email, voice and app notifications based on your information in Skyward.
